Once upon a time—well, not too long ago, during the magical month of Ramadan—we had a brilliant (and slightly quirky) idea: Nady El Sohor El Sery (The Secret Sohor Club). Yes, you heard that right! We dreamt of sneaky late-night gatherings, with the kind of sohor that makes you feel like you're part of a covert culinary operation. But as these things go, what started as a playful, undercover Ramadan mission quickly evolved into something much bigger.

Fast forward to March 23, 2023, and poof—Johna’s was born! No longer just a secret club, but a full-blown restaurant and cafe offering modern European food that’s as stylish as our comfy industrial design. Think cozy corners, exposed brick, and the perfect fusion of contemporary flavors. You’ll feel like you're dining in Europe—but with way better parking.

Oh, and let’s not forget our photoshoot. Picture this: we may have kidnapped our friends (don’t worry, they’ve mostly forgiven us) to use as “willing” models for the cafe’s photo session. Who needs professional models when you’ve got friends who can be bribed with free coffee and desserts? So, if our website or Instagram feed looks extra friendly, it’s because our friends were, well, voluntold for the job!
